After months of meetings, we are tremendously excited to announce our official merger with the K10 Coworking space. We are standing at very beginning of our cooperation but we are all looking forward to it and we hope that you are too. This move will increase the market share of the network of the Impact Hub coworking centers in the Czech Republic from 35 to 40 % and bring many new things and opportunities. Let’s celebrate!
Hub Ventures Group, the owner of the Impact Hub coworking centers, has announced the acquisition of a majority (55%) stake in the K10 coworking center based in Prague. This acquisition will result in the formation of the largest coworking space in Prague operating under a single brand with a total area of 2,750 m2, one huge garden and 850+ members.
“We are truly excited to merge with K10, which brings us beautiful spaces of an Art Nouveau villa in the beautiful city district of Vinohrady, and we are glad we managed to reach an agreement with the owners of K10 Coworking in a record time of less than 3 months. We want the entire process of merging to be highly beneficial to both parties,“ said Zdeněk Rudolský, Executive of Hub Ventures. “We would like to make best use of the synergies and experience with the operations of the existing coworking spaces.”
The Impact Hub network will boast a total area of 7700 sqm in the entire Czech Republic. The member base will connect more than 1,700 members nationwide. The Impact Hub Czech Republic network will continue to organize about 1,000 major events annually and run 8 acceleration programs that help more than 100 projects navigate their business closer to sustainability every year.
“K10 was founded in 2016 as a space for people’s development and cooperation on interesting projects in the inspiring environment and over the two years of our existence, we have managed to build a community of people who work on their start-up projects. We started looking for a solid partner who would help us develop the center even further. The Impact Hub network has become the right partner for us due to its global reach and nationwide operations,” said Šimon Vodrážka, the owner of K10 Coworking.
We are currently in the initial phase of joining both spaces and it is therefore not possible to transfer memberships from one space to the other and vice versa. Similarly, if you would like to rent a room, please book the space using the relevant location’s website.
