Mental Health at Workplace become a huge issue for all employers and employees. There is an estimate of 7 billion $ cost yearly for mental health issues in the business sector. 1 in 5 Europeans per year experience a mental illness. How can we go beyond this? During the short workshop we’ll look at mental health definition, some statistics, types and symptoms and go through some wellness action planning to improve mental health.
Businesses who are well-informed and capable of implementing prevention and support programs for mental health often rewarded with a host of benefits, including reduced cost of work related mental ill health, mental health promotion can also boost productivity and performance, help to increase morale, teamwork and communication, staff turnover is lower and so are the associated costs of recruitment and training.

Dolores Kores is working for EPIC for the last year and half in the topics of social entrepreneurship, employment of people with disabilities and mental health issues. Previous she worked as CEO of social enterprise in tourism, where she employed people with mental health issues. She has more than 10 years of experiences of creating and working in an environment where people struggle with mental health issues.
